*Key Responsibilities:*

Perform quality control, alignment, variant calling, and annotation of genomic datasets.

Analyze and interpret genetic variants using bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., GATK, ANNOVAR, ClinVar, dbSNP).

Support research or clinical reporting by providing high-confidence variant interpretations in line with ACMG or project-specific guidelines.

Collaborate with wet lab scientists, clinicians, and data scientists to integrate genomic data into broader research or diagnostic efforts.

Maintain and improve analysis pipelines; contribute to reproducible research and data governance.

Stay current with advances in genomics and computational biology and integrate them into workflows.

*Required Qualifications:*

Proficiency in next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis and relevant tools.

Programming skills in Python, R, or Bash, with experience in high-performance computing environments.

Familiarity with human genome databases and variant interpretation frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

Experience in clinical genomics or precision medicine environments.

Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP).

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Terra, Seven Bridges).

Experience with single-cell or epigenomic datasets.
